Can't sync user folders in Windows 8

description

Any folders under a specific user (documents, my music etc.) don't show the shell extension to enable syncing

Running Windows 8 Pro x64 and SkyDrive for Desktop version 2012 (17.0.2003.1112). Also have SkyDrive App installed on start screen

Yes, we removed the possibility of syncing so called User Shell Folders. Windows has it's on logic to track the location of User Shell Folders. Even if the initial sync works, stop syncing won't at leaves with messed up folders. However, Windows has a build-in function to move those folders. Just right click->Properties->Location. There you can move the folder very similar to what SSX is doing.

Wow, I did not know I could do this!! thanks so much!! App works really well, such a massive oversight on Microsoft's part not to include functionality like this!
