Not working on Windows 8.1

description

Microsoft has integrated SkyDrive more deeply into the core OS with the Windows 8.1 and there is no need to use the separate desktop app. And there is no way to change the local folder, because SkyDrive folder is now system folder. When I install SkyShellEx nothing happens - there is no SkyShellEx options in the context menu.

Yanko, from the screenshot I can see you just tried right click on folders that already part of SkyDrive. Is that right? Have you tried on external folders? If yes, then it's really hard to tell why it doesn't work. I guess I have to write a diagnostic program for those cases.

bitdisaster, yes I have tried several folder - and of course folders outside of SkyDrive
For example

I have installed SkyDrive desktop app and SkyShellEx app on both OS and here is the difference:

Windows 8 - folder on the Desktop

Windows 8.1 - folder on the Desktop

I'll be very glad if this issue can be fixed, because SkyShellEx is very powerful.

Same Problem.

Any update on this? working on it?

No, no update for 8.1 planned. The integration of SkyDrive into 8.1 make it impossible to get SSX working.
